Thickeners

In the food industry the use of thickeners is a common practice.

For the thickening of foods increasingly products like Xanthum Gum, CMC, Pectin and tailor-made products are being used.
Reason is that the use of these products brings a lot of advantages: ease-of-use, easier manufacturing, better pH stability, lower dose rates, less impact on mouthfeel and a longer stability.
