Mission statement & responsible care, responsability towards society & environment.

The world needs chemicals and for many chemicals there is no biodegradable alternative. These chemicals are still manufactured under environment polluting conditions. Step by step this will improve and we see it as our mission:

• Only to work with manufacturers of chemical products who work according to environmental legislation, handle waste streams according to modern ecological methods, have set up modern production standards as HACCP, TQM, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000. The packaging has to conform to transportation laws and be completely suitable for long journeys overseas.

Being based in Western Europe, our people have traveled extensively and we have built up an extensive network in many countries in the past 40 years. While travelling, we see different circumstances for many people and animals that are not as well arranged as in our home country. One of our goals is to support and sponsor every year a project for the needy. Several examples of projects we have been supporting in the past years are:

• Support to victims of the Tsunami.
• Support to victims of the earthquake in Turkey.
• In 2007 we supported the reconstruction of a sportsfield in a poor neighbourhood in Paramaribo, Surinam. The field was renovated, among others soccer and basketball facilities were set. Partly the project was financed by the Surinam society through fund-raising actions of the Surinam Rotary.
• Donations to a foundation offering scholarships to young women living in rural, remote area's in this world.

We are mainly interested in supporting projects helping people or animals.

One of our other ways of contributing to the environment is to actively promote biodegradable and ecological chemicals and advise our industrial customers to change certain products in favor of "green" products.
